Shepherd of the Hills Christian School is part of more than 1800 Lutheran Schools Nation-wide. We share common activities like AR (Accelerated Reader), sports leagues, Spelling Bees, Lutheran Schools Week, yearly themes and educational conferences. Since the 1890’s, Lutheran schools have worked to provide a Christ-centered and academic rigorous education for their students, kindergarten through college. When you are at Shepherd, you share the opportunity to believe in the Savior with other Christians. You belong to an historical educational system as well as the Body of Christ, his church. You have the challenge to become transformed into the image of Christ.
Both the ELC and K-8 school will be closed until April 30, 2020 per the direction of the Colorado State government.
At Shepherd, we believe in the benefits of physical activity and competition. Our students compete against other schools in the Denver Area Lutheran (DAL) Athletic Conference and other area schools in soccer, volleyball, basketball, and track.
