What I love about my position:
I love learning and watching scholars discover and learn. I love being with young scholars who are so full of life and sharing our learning experience together.  I love watching them be successful.  I love teaching them about Jesus.

Bible Verse:
On one of the last days of school in 2015, right as I found out about the cancer, the Lord brought this promise to me, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28
I wrote it on the board and told my students that I was going to be ok.  I went back to Louisiana to visit them the next school year in the Fall to show them I was responding to treatment.  The Lord has been there and continues to be with me all along this journey.
I was trying to get a job here and the Lord kept saying, wait, now it’s the right time and I am excited to be a part of this family.
