Our mission is to support the teachers, staff and students of Shepherd of the Hills Christian School.  We hope to foster school spirit and Christian fellowship through special events. Our financial goal is to enhance the student's learning experience with additional resources outside of the school's budget.

Q1. What is PTL?

PTL stands for Parent Teacher League. It is a committee of parents and teachers from Shepherd of the Hills that meets on a monthly basis.

Q2. What does PTL do?

PTL is responsible for planning many events throughout the school  year.  Some of these events include:

Back to School coffee
Back to School picnic
Fall Fundraiser
Teacher meals during conferences
Father and Son event
Dad's 'N Donuts
Friday snacks for teachers
Santa's Secret Shop
Mom's 'N Muffins
Teacher Appreciation Lunch
Springfest
End of the year picnic

PTL also raises money through various fundraisers to provide much-needed items for the school. School assemblies, team uniforms, and classroom and office equipment are just a few of the things PTL has been able to fund.

Q3. Who can attend meetings?

Anyone from our Shepherd of the Hills family is welcome to attend our meetings.  Please call a board member for the exact meeting time and place.

Q4. When does PTL meet?

PTL generally meets the 3rd Thursday of the month at 7 P.M.
